How to Ascend in 2024

Typically, new years mean little to me.

I don’t feel the need to reinvent myself

Or wait until January 1st to start that new habit.

However, something feels different this year.

There’s a strong energy that’s almost palpable.

And it’s not just us at Footytutor that are feeling it.

Countless people that we’ve talked to are picking up on something bigger this go around.

It’s a positive energy too—almost feels like a ridable wave or seeing a juicy pass.

Something's right in front of you, and all that needs to be done is take the steps towards it.

I think 2024 is going to be an amazing year for anyone who wants to level up.

Just like the Sword of Excalibur, creative energy is just waiting to be claimed and channeled towards something bigger.

Now is the time to move forward with what’s been stirring in your mind.

How to ascend in 2024

Subtraction

To become great, you need to have mastery over your specialty.

And to achieve mastery, there’s no other option than to do the work and gain the experience.

But that can be challenging.

We live in a world full of distractions.

Everything is literally fighting for our attention—phones, computers, billboards, etc.

Keep in mind that your attention is so powerful that companies will pay millions of dollars for a few seconds of it.

This is why we need to get rid of the surrounding noise to laser in on what we want to master.

Hence, subtraction.

It’s not only the things that try to claim a spot in our minds, but it’s also all the other shiny things around us.

It might be tempting to drop working on a new skill move that you just can’t seem to get for an easier one, but now you’re left without being able to do either very well.

Subtract things from your focus that don’t need to be there.

Laser that focus on one realm.

You’ll get farther by being brilliant at one thing than you will by being okay at many things.

Curiosity

None of the greats have ever been created by someone who does what’s already been done and copies someone else.

You’re a unique human with unique interests.

Yeah, you might like football, but you might also enjoy tinkering with cars or examining tree patterns.

The point is, you have the ability to do something that no one else has never done before because no one else sees the world in the same way as you do.

The people that follow their curiosity are the ones that make wakes and change the direction of whatever field they're in.

Yes, there are still ways that you can do this on a football pitch.

However, I could never tell you how, because I don’t see football the same way that you do.

The players that are technical are good, but the players that add their own flair are great.

Be hungry for more knowledge.

Once you have that knowledge, find new ways to apply it.

There are no real rules in life.

Move forward through this year letting curiosity arise and act on the thoughts that light you up with energy.
